Description

DUBLIN, CA — As heavy winds and rain toppled trees and power lines across the Bay Area this weekend, two large trees were knocked over at a Dublin fire station. The incident occurred at the fire station at 6200 Madigan Road, operated by the Alameda County Fire Department. Alameda County Fire provides firefighting services to the city of Dublin. The trees stood on either side of the fire station. "While out running calls for downed trees, Station 17 in Dublin experienced a couple of its own downed trees," the fire department said Sunday. "No one is immune to this weather." Dublin's maintenance crews continue to clean up trees that tipped over during the storm, said city spokesperson Shari Jackman in an email. See a photo of both of the downed trees.
