I am a GC and I have two projects coming up in November in OC. The first one is a 600 SF Ground Level Deck that is going to require the help of: A Skilled Skit Steer Operator Dumptruck to Take 4-8 tons of Dirt to Dump Deck Framer Deck Board Installers-Helpers The Yard will be marked by Miss Utility and all deck/catwalk perimeters will be spray painted also prior to. excavating. The sod needs to be removed and we need to be about 6" below grade so that the deck boards on top of the 2 x 6 PT joists will be at grass level when finished. I am looking for qualified sub contractors with all equipment needed to complete the job. I need a quote to remove and excavate the 600 SF of Dirt and remove it from the property. This will need to be "Fine Graded" within an inch of "Grass Level" (6" deep" ) The yard is easily accessible and is pretty flat as is, I estimate by the pictures the homeowner provided me with there is about a 1 foot of drop in 50 feet between the house and the seawall. I NEED AT THE VERY LEAST A BALLPARK QUOTE BASED ON THIS DESCRIPTION AS I AM NOT LOCATED NEAR THE JOB SITE PRESENTLY AND THE HOMEOWNER DOES NOT WANT ANYONE AT THE PROPERTY WITOUT ME ONSITE I ALSO NEED A QUOTE TO FRAME 600 SF OF 2 X 6 PRESSURE TREATED DECK AT GROUND LEVEL, WTH RANDOM 4 X 4 POSTS SUNK IN THE ROUND WITH CONCRETE A MINIMUM OF 30" BELOW GRASS-GRADE. COUNT ON 10 POSTS TOTAL GIVE OR TAKE. THESE ARE NOT FOR THE LEVELING OF THE DECK, AS MUCH AS THEY ARE TO BE USED TO ANCHOR THE DECK IN THE EVENT OF A FLOOD. ALL MATERIALS WILL BE ON SITE IF YOU CAN'T QUOTE THESE TWO SIMPLE PHASES BASED ON THE INFO I GAVE YOU PLEASE DON'T REPLY. I WILL REPLY ONLY TO THOSE THAT BID REALISTICALLY AND WITHOUT ANY QUESTIONS THAT I ALREADY POSTED THE ANSWERS TO IN THIS AD. IF YOU ARE A HELPER OR LABORER WE WILL ALSO NEED SOME HELP SCREWING DOWN DECK BOARDS AND DOING THE FINAL GRADING AND RE-SODDING AROUND THE EDGES AFTER THE DECK IS BUILT.
