HOOVER, AL — Hoover's dramatic win over previously unbeaten Thompson has the Bucs in a familiar position sitting atop the Alabama Sports Writers Association's Class 7A rankings. Hoover signal-caller Bennett Meredith led the Bucs on an 82-yard drive in the final two minutes, ending with a touchdown pass to Jabari Gaines with 14 seconds left in the game.
