I received 9-year-old Gus from a free same day rehoming post on Craigslist (this person had adopted him from Las Vegas) around 10/18/21 and wholeheartedly intended to keep him, but it turns out I am severely allergic to him. I would really love to find him a good loving home as he is such a sweet and active dog. He does well with my cat as he just leaves her alone; he is exceptionally social with other dogs. He has been abused/neglected prior to being adopted from Las Vegas (he needs a lot of TLC) and he has little history prior to his intake on 9/23/21, but he is up to date with all his shots and I have taken him to my own vet on 10/20/21 to treat him on a monthly flea medication that will come with him to his new home. He does have a harder time hearing, his eyes are a little cloudy but his vision is better than his hearing, he has a cyst on his left eye. Despite all of this, the vet says he is 20 lbs and as healthy as can be. It may be best that he goes to a good, loving home without small children.
