Are you a crazy house plant person, or have a strong interest in working with interior plants? We are looking to hire individuals to maintain and install interior plantscapes! This would include caring for potted free-standing plants, inground beds and greenwalls that we have throughout the twin cities area. You must be willing to work independently for most of the work. Upkeep a high standard of work level in a timely manner. And enjoy the ups and downs that come with caring for house plants. Major roles of an interior horticulture technician. • Watering and fertilizing all plants as necessary • Keeping all plants cleaned, trimmed, and oriented to proper light • Removing and damaged or unsightly foliage • Removing debris from planters and maintaining planters in a neat and orderly manner • Preventing damage to surrounding flooring, walls and furniture from water and moisture • Keeping all plant free from disease and insects • Maintaining staging and top dressing for proper presentation Major roles for installation team • Replacement of green plants and floral units in customers facilities • Installation of new accounts • Maintenance of tools used for projects • Keep all work areas clean and free of debris • Able to recall information related to jobs • Willing to drive to and from office and account • Monito orders and confirm details as needed • Cleaning and preparing plants for installation Everything we do is done with highest professionalism and great courtesy for our customers and public. Need to be able to listen to customers concerns and point them in the right direction of their needs. Must be able to communicate with other team members as to issues and highlights within accounts. Some knowledge using hand tools such as pruners, saw, shovel, trowel etc. Could be asked to work some nights, weekends, and holiday. Really looking for someone willing and able to learn a new skill but still bring to the table ability to understand and take directions. Have a positive energy every day that will energize your own work put others around you. Little to no plant background is needed as plants can be learned but work ethic is something you have.
