Compactor Operator Closing Date: November 4, 2021 Department: Environmental Services Status: Part-Time Starting Hourly Salary Range: $16.06 - $18.47 Required Hours of Availability: Monday-Sunday; varied hours/days including holidays and weekends Scope: This position is responsible for operating trash compactors and balers in the collection of solid waste and recyclables and maintaining the grounds and facilities at disposal sites on an assigned route.    Environmental Services Worker Closing Date: November 4, 2021 Department: Environmental Services Status: Full-Time Starting Salary Range: $31,809.52 - $36,580.95 Required Hours of Availability: Tuesday – Friday 6 am-4:30 pm Scope: This position assist with the clean-up of roadside litter, grounds maintenance, and clean up detail at county facilities with the Environmental Services Department.   Applicants should apply at the Alabama State Employment Office or the Lee County Commission Office 215 S. 9th Street, Opelika, AL, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM.
