Summary: Oversee the project's jobs sites and inspect the quality of work performed by the sub-contractor. Communication with the customer, office and subcontractor throughout the whole project. Create the punch list for any changes that might need to be made during the project. Duties and Responsibilities: Supervises the quality control functions/activities of each project, including quality control inspection. Act as liaison between the Production Department and the customer in dealing with quality service matters. Ensures that all manufacturing and IRC installation requirements are followed for each project on site and ensures immediate corrections are made, if any, to eliminate additional cost to the company. Communicates to subcontractor crew leaders that the subcontractors follow all OSHA laws as it relates to harnesses or special equipment needed for high or steep projects. Creates open (punch) list items ensuring the list is completed and approved in a timely manner minimizing any loss to the company and homeowner. Inspects all job sites to ensure proper clean up has been completed and all construction material and debris has been removed from the job site by the subcontractor. Signs off on the project completion certificate with the homeowner and subcontractor. Approves all subcontractors invoices to be paid based on the quality and the final review of the project. Supports the external quality service role of the company and Tacheny Exteriors expectations with the subcontractors in the field to ensure Tacheny Exteriors is properly represented by the subcontractors on each project. Stays in daily contact with the production department and project consultant or sales manager. Education and Requirements: A minimum of 3 years but prefer 5 years experience in the construction industry with a background that covers the mechanics of exterior installation for roofing, siding, S&F, windows, etc. Bilingual people are preferred with Spanish as a second language. Skills: Must be able to operate an iPad or other electronic devices as it relates to project documentation and photos in the field. Must have a clean driving record. Must be able to climb a ladder. Must be able to get on roofs when deemed necessary to perform site inspections. Longer workdays are required during the peak season.
