Soulful Baritone Vocalist / Frontman seeking band

Description
I'm looking to join an already formed band that needs a singer, ideally, but I'm open to starting a new band from scratch. I'm open to many genres as I love a very wide variety of music. My range is more on the baritone side of things so I do soul and blues fairly well. When in my bag, I can really sing deep, rich, and powerfully and love singing in the A minor key. I've loved singing most of my life, but have only started this journey towards doing it professionally in the past year. Been training with local teachers and getting better every day, but that being said I don't want to misrepresent myself as someone that is well versed professionally with lots of gig experience (yet). I love bouncing off each other's energy and playing/creating music in a creative and collaborative environment, but I also have a very focused and strategic work ethic and would love to work with people that have similar goals of actually booking gigs as soon as possible. I also dabble in songwriting so would definitely be interested in collaborating to create original music too. Here's a list of songs I love to sing that my voice serves well for a rough idea of my sound / influences: - "Ain't no sunshine" and "Use Me" by Bill Withers - "Neve give up" by Son Little - "Kissing Tree" by The Spencer Lee Band - "Doesn't Remind Me" by Audioslave - "What Ever Happened" by The Strokes - "Ain't Too Proud to Beg" by The Temptations - "They Don't Want" by Electric Wire Hustle - "Black Magic Woman" by Santana - "Somebody to Love" by Jefferson Airplane (I sing an octave lower than Grace Slick) - "I Put A Spell On You" by Jay Hawkins - "Otherside" by RHCP - "She Needs Him" by Her's - "Slow Dancing in a Burning Room" by John Mayer - "Yellow" by Coldplay - "I Will Follow You Into the Dark" by Death Cab for Cutie - "Misfit" Naji Also, I may not have a ton experience just yet, but I am no stranger to stages as I've performed in other capacities (improv, musical theatre, live band karaoke, open mics, etc) and I have great stage presence and attitude to back up the vocals. I know how to bring energy to the crowd and have some pretty decent dance moves that I can bring to the frontman role. Little about me - I'm a 33 year old man (him/his), software engineer to pay the bills. Some things I like to do in my free time: painting, improv comedy, rugby, writing, guitar, woodworking Shoot me an email if you need an injection of powerful and energetic vocals to you band or if I sound like someone you'd like to start a new band with!
