Guitarist/Bassist Wanted to Play Dance Hits in Killer Rhythm Section

We are a keyboardist and drummer with many years’ experience both together and apart, and we’re forming a GOOD TIME band to perform at weddings, festivals, and clubs. The band will be based out of the East Bay (Either Pleasanton or Brentwood) We have rehearsal spaces and a KILLER sound setup. We are both experienced at building successful bands, we have club connections and are looking to do it once again! Here's the deal: We'll be playing iconic dance hits from today and decades past. And it will feature AMAZING young vocalists. But before we get there, we need the foundation. Here's who we need: • Lead Guitar – We are not looking for a shredder. But you must have a strong ability to cover the iconic song intros and solos from many different dance style genres. You must also be able to communicate and direct where needed. Background vocal ability is a plus. • Bass Guitar - Nothing cooler to you than the groove, BABY! You can read us. We can read you. We lay down an awesome groove for the others to go with. Background vocal ability also a plus. This is a ZERO ego gig. You must be an experienced, professionally minded musician. Not looking to change the world or feed egos. On stage, NOTHING is more important to us than helping our bandmates look and feel great. NO ONE is more important than anyone else. This is about us helping people have an over-the-top good time. And by doing so, WE have a good time. It will take hard work which should be a labor of love, although not a huge time-suck. We have families. You probably do too. So, wherever possible, we’d love to do family-friendly gigs. Attention to detail and open-mindedness are essential. Good enough…is NOT. Rehearsals would be, initially once a week or two. Our goal will be to gig 3-4 times per month on average. We believe we can be gigging within 2-3 months.
