A leading medical delivery company has immediate need for delivery service providers (Drivers - Independent Contractors) with routes originating out of Albuquerque, New Mexico. We deliver Nuclear Medication to Hospitals and Health Systems for leading national provider. Routes are available on Monday through Friday with route pickups between 2:30am to 9am depending on the need. Medical Courier Requirements/Qualifications: Drivers must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. Drivers are required to provide their own sturdy hand truck / dolly and blocking and bracing equipment The driving contract is from early mornings to mid afternoons Must also be fluent in English. 1099 Contractor delivery experience preferred, but not required Requires sharp attention to detail and a strong ability to keep a schedule Drivers must have a reliable vehicle - A compact to full size motor vehicle is sufficient. No vans or trucks required. Dependable and reliable track record A valid driver license Must be willing and able to drive in inclement weather (i.e. snow, ice, rain, wind) GPS knowledgeable Android or Apple based cell phone Collecting Electronic Proof of Delivery at every stop (POD'S) Medical Courier Pay & Perks: Spill kits and dosing meters provided free of charge for drivers Work available on weekends if contractors want to pick up additional deliveries Home daily (no overnight) DOT & function-specific hazmat training provided free of charge Pay: $0.95 per mile and $5.00 per delivery (Route minimum of $40) Fuel Surcharge reimbursement
