Petz Mania is a modern open-play, off-leash doggie Day Care, self serve dog bath and grooming facility located in North Dallas, Texas (off 190 Toll Rd & Marsh Lane). We have an opening for a Front Desk Attendant/Receptionist to join our dynamic team. Candidate with experience working in the pet care services industry, ideally in dog daycare, veterinary or kennel environment is highly desired. This position reports to the business owner and shift leader. Has responsibility for customer interaction, satisfaction and maintaining the health, safety and comfort of all of our 4-legged guests. Primary duties include: Greet new clients (people and dogs) in a positive upbeat and friendly manner Handle phone and email inquiries, provide facility tours and explain available services and activities Collect and enter information - utilize specialized computer software Accurately book reservation requests for grooming services Check-in and check-out pets, create invoices and take customer payments Professionally document all customer complaints and follow-up as needed Clean and prep bath tubs for next customer use Try to keep the bath area dry and clean Assist in the check out process of retail purchase Education Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent Must be at least 18 years old Stability (employment for at least 1 year at same employer) Always on time and reliable Have reliable transportation to work Be prepared to work weekends, some evening hours and holidays Other Rewards of Employment Free daycare for employee's dog Discounted grooming and boarding for employee's dog Must be able to pass drug screening and background check.
