Description

Herschel went missing on July 16 from the Casa Solana neighborhood. On Monday, October 18, her collar was found lying on the ground in Frank Ortiz Dog Park, in the area behind Spruce Street / Vuelta Roble / Cibola Drive. The collar has been cut with scissors and is in good condition (see second photo). Her tag (with all my information) was still attached. It may have been dropped or discarded there recently. Herschel is a small (less than 8lbs.) 5-year-old brown/tan tabby cat, spayed female, and she is microchipped. She is very talkative and friendly. She has one back foot that is slightly deformed due to a birth injury (it does not affect her ability to walk/run/jump, but is noticeable if you look for it). **I would be more than happy to offer a reward for her safe return or information leading directly to her, no questions asked. All I care about is getting her home safely.** If you know anyone who has recently taken in a new stray, or if you think you know anything that might lead to where she is, please reply to this post or call/text . She is microchipped and registered to me as her legal owner, so you could also anonymously surrender her to the shelter or contact Animal Services anonymously at , and they will scan her chip and contact me to pick her up. She has a very loving home, with a brother she's never been separated from (we adopted them together as kittens). We all love and miss her so much. Thanks for keeping an eye out.
