Full or part time Farm Position (Barrington Hills, IL) small 10-acre horse property seeking help. Minimum requirement: one to two years’ experience feeding and handling horses. Position includes but not limited to: Stall mucking (10 to 12 stalls), twice daily feeding, turn-out and grooming horses. Ability to recognize a colicing, foundering, or sick horse. General farm maintenance: mowing fields, fence repair and recognizing miscellaneous areas of need on a farm. The following skills are a plus but not required: Administering vaccines to horses, leg wrapping. wound care management, trailer loading, bathing horses and farm equipment maintenance, Salary commensurate with experience.
