Insulation Installer (Denver)
compensation: Pay ranges from $20.00 to $25.00 an hour depending on experience
Insulation Installers are responsible for installing insulation in a variety of structures and surfaces to
exclude or retain heat. Insulation Installers will use common hand tools to measure, cut and fit various
types of insulation. They may also use compressors, generators, drills, saws or other tools to “blow-in”
or “inject foam” insulation. Some carpentry skills are often needed to repair or prep spaces for some projects.
Other job duties include:
• Prepare or clean company truck and tools for insulation projects
• Install injectable foam insulation in walls and ceilings
• Complete prep work including foam and caulk, fireproofing, baffles, filling joist spaces, etc.
• Installs blow-in insulation
• Loads and unloads, completes safety checks and basic maintenance and care of equipment.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions; effectively present information to others one-on-one
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a local professional reference
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1 to 3 months related experience
and/or training
