Anne Arundel County Animal Care & Control, 411 Maxwell Frye Rd., Millersville, will hold a free outdoor Halloween party from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday, Oct. 30, including a costume parade and contest that begins at noon and a safe outside trick-or-treating trail. There also are many dogs, cats and little critters such as rabbits and Guinea pigs available to meet and adopt inside the shelter, and their already-low adoption fees will be waived on Saturday. It's happening rain or shine.
