Mark Williams Enterprises in Louisville has a opening on our shop floor. We are a 56 year old manufacturer of high quality race drive shafts, brakes, rear ends, and axles. We are located in the Colorado Tech Center, 1 exit west of Wadsworth/287 off Highway 36 in Louisville (Near the Flatirons Mall).
We are hiring for a shop floor position heat treating steel parts.
A typical day will involve:
Heat treating race axles and components including:
-Through hardening various parts
-Induction hardening axles
-Hardness checking
-Magnetic particle crack inspection
-Straightening heat treated parts
-Cold process Black Oxide on parts
-Polishing hardened axles
The right person for this job will
-Have mechanical aptitude
-Enjoy working on and solving mechanical problems
-Have some experience in a shop
-Able to lift various amounts of heavy materials
-Have an eye for detail
Our plant operates 4 days a week, 10 hours a day with Fridays off. The hours are 6:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Thursday. We offer vacation after 1 year as well as a profit sharing plan and health insurance.
