I am a free lance PCA for hire 5 years experience and still in this line of work I have done all cares in this field for residents and and was lead PCA for 4 years I pass all meds and I also am knowledgeable on how to use all the lifts for clients that you possibly would have in a home if needed I have dealt with insulin, blood pressures, oxygen machines etc. I work in memory care, assisted living & enhanced care unit I know the struggle is real for the residents & family members I can help with every day living as far as grocery shopping, house cleaning, preparing meals, showers & baths or just be a companion an ear to listen or some one to talk to etc. I have dealt with some tuff residents with anger issues & toileting problems but with the proper redirecting them issues can resolve. If you want to keep your loved ones out of a rest home setting this could be for them pay is based on an hourly wage. I am up to date on any general courses I need to work in a facility by the state of Minnesota's standard also I have my certificate of training for PCA/CFSS through the department of human services and a recent back ground check.
