Join our Volunteer team to help Meals on Wheels in King County fight hunger! As a Meals on Wheels Volunteer, you will belong to a team committed to helping homebound seniors maintain their health and independence with nutritious food, personal contact, and caring service. As a Volunteer Co-Coordinator you would work with the current Volunteer Coordinator, supporting our wonderful team of volunteers, and assist with various office tasks that keep Meals on Wheels humming along on schedule. Coordinators are able to fill in for any member of the Meals on Wheels team. Availability Tuesday and Thursday mornings needed. Qualifications: Good communication and people skills, reliable, good cheer, and a commitment to the well-being of homebound elders. This is an on-going volunteer commitment and we are looking for someone that is available long term. Requirements: Complete an application, consent to a background check, be able to lift 15lbs, be at least 21 years of age, and have a Washington state driver's license and insurance.
