I am the owner and trainer of Gillian's K9 Academy. I am an individualized, reward-based, professional balanced dog trainer. I have 9 years experience training dogs. I have shown dogs in obedience at both the county and state level. I have shadowed under two professional trainers and interned under a third trainer. I've trained over 300+ dogs of varying sizes and temperaments. I do anything from puppy training and obedience training to service dog training and behavior modification training including, but not limited to resource guarding, reactivity, and aggression. At Gillian's K9 Academy, we prioritize the relationship between dog and owner, and use positive reinforcement as the baseline for all training. We adjust our training to match the individual temperament of the dog. All of our training is done in the confort of your home. We have found that this gets us more consistent and long lasting results. Some lessons will be held in parks or stores depending on the training package or the dog.
