I need help. ABOUT YOU; Looking for someone with their own tools, transportation and somewhat educated in the general aspects of interior/exterior remodeling of homes. If you're interested in learning, I'm willing to teach & participate in your success. Like wise, I offer respect to anyone who brings some valuable information to the table. Good personal hygiene and someone who does not need a cigarette every 15 mins is preferred. Ambitious and self driven is highly desired. ABOUT ME; I'm a general contractor of 23 yrs. If it's of any value to know, I'm a Veteran who served in the Gulf War Era, so I have a tendency to be clean, organized & mission oriented. Clean & sober. Don't smoke. (but i have done these things in the past, so i can relate) I'm fair & have common sense about my surroundings. Treat people equally and I'm usually on the site getting my hands dirty alongside of my help. I'm not trying to build a huge corporate structured business here, just a contractor trying to scratch out a decent living taking care of my clients. THE SITUATION; I'm in the middle of a rather large remodel that will take us into the winter months, and I have (2) basement remodels lined up after that. My current help is becoming very unreliable. One person can only give me about 15 hrs a week due to family issues, and the other person just has WAY TOO MUCH MAMA DRAMA!! Terms of compensation will be discussed in person, depending on experience. Most jobs are in Portland, but I occasionally work in Vancouver.
