Job Description: We are looking to add a member to our seasonal maple sugaring team! The job runs Nov 1 - May 1. During November and December the job is primarily focused around prepping our pipeline and sugar woods for the upcoming season. January is the spent tapping, followed by maintaining the woods in March and April. This job will include some reverse osmosis operation at our Milton location. This position will be mostly based out of Milton, but some work will be done in Fairfield and Georgia. Prior to the sap running this jobs averages about 50 hrs. During production it will average over 60 hours, and weekend availability is a must. Requirements: Ability to work outside in variable weather Willingness to work weekend/overtime in the production season Proper work/outerwear Reliable transportation Strong work ethic Skills/Experience: ATV Maple Sugaring Maple Sugaring Chainsaw work Plumbing/Mechanical Basic tree identification Tapping experience a must
