I do not believe that the CNN Town Hall was effective at all. The main reason is that nobody watched it. In spite of what the WH press secretary says, Biden does not taken questions from the media. He walks away after almost every event. The WH would rather stage a planned interview, with a friendly reporter, with predetermined questions and answers. We saw the one reporter in a prior event that was called on and asked the wrong question. Biden responded by saying that it was the wrong question and then proceeded to answer the question that he was supposed to ask. When you call on 'reporters' that have pre-written questions... and you have the answer cards in front of you... that's not taking questions. Along the same lines... reciting prepared speeches to prepared questions (known in advance) is not really a Town Hall. His stance on COVID and vaccines is really immaterial. He and his administration cannot seem to provide any scientific basis for the vaccine mandates or the mask hysteria. The vaccine producers claim that the vaccine is 95% effective. If two people are vaccinated... then the risk in extremely low. If I am vaccinated... then the risk to me is extremely low and I should not have to wear a mask or take other measures to protect someone who has decided not to get a vaccination. His vaccination policy seems to be to strong-arm corporations into mandating the vaccine. The administration is already meeting to roll out how they're going to mandate the vaccine to children, even though it wasn't approved yet. The same will happen when the booster becomes available... it will be mandated. He will not make a stance on the illegals on the southern boarder. I believe that it's simply a method of bolstering the democratic voting rolls. The current spending/tax bill included amnesty for approx. ten million illegals. I wonder what would happen to the mass migration if a law was passed that denied illegals (who by-passed the current immigration process) the right to stay... or vote in this country. I'm almost positive that if the vote was taken away... democrats would no longer want the mass illegal crossings and it would come to a halt. Biden does not need another prepared Town Hall to recite is agenda. It's most likely that he doesn't even have a say in what's in that agenda. If he's sincere, then he'd be more than willing to face all of the media and answer questions without prepared responses. But that won't happen.
