Fleet Supervisor responsibilities will be overseeing the Freedom Boat Club of the Grand Strand’s boat fleet by inspecting, documenting, cleaning, repairing, delegating, ordering, etc. The position’s responsibilities will change constantly due to the broad spectrum of challenges that occur to the fleet. Working with the dock crew and leadership team daily to ensure the boat quality is at a premium for the membership will be the main focus of the position. Fleet Supervisor will work directly with the Fleet Manager on daily task and assignments. Fleet Supervisor will have an office at the FBC boatyard. Key responsibilities are: • Inspecting the FBC boats • Reporting all damage • Cleaning boats • Repairing boats • Transporting boats • Visiting all FBC marinas • Working with FBC Fleet Manager and Fleet Maintenance to repair and maintain boats • Documenting boat conditions • Maintaining clean boatyard • Communicating with leadership on status of boats Key goal: Keep the FBC fleet to company standards Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of boats, cleaning and detailing boats, repairing boats, transporting boat, trailer usage, loading and unloading boats, communication skills, documenting skills, hands on labor skills, safety skills, etc.
