Senior Custodian, MC- Environmental Services- F/T Variable Shift Updated: Oct 7, 2021 Location: Orange Job Type: Department: Environmental Services Job Description: UC Title: MED CTR CUSTODIAN SR Position Number: 40321880 Reports to: Temp Agency Staff-Non UC Working Title: Senior Custodian, MC Cost Center: Environmental Services (428460) Bargaining Unit: AFSCME FLSA: Nonexempt Alt Overtime Date Created: 5/29/2020 Job Code: 005086 Hours: 40 Shift: Variable Shift FTE: 1 Position Summary: Reporting to the EVS Manager, the Senior Custodian performs skilled and semi-skilled cleaning, housekeeping and/or general maintenance duties in acute and non-acute in-patient, out-patient and non-patient areas. Exercises care and caution in the use of supplies and equipment while performing custodial tasks. Performs resilient tile and carpet care maintenance tasks (stripping, waxing, and carpet extraction/shampooing). Other various related housekeeping duties may be performed as assigned. Salary Range: Hourly Rate Minimum $18.19 Midpoint $21.09 Maximum $23.98 Required Qualifications: Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions in English Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job Ability to work in various locations, as well as rotating shifts including nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
