Established healthy bakery startup is seeking a baker with experience in high-volume fast-paced production. High volume food production experience, professional baking experience a plus. Baking includes cookies, brownies, and muffins. Production will include hand scooping. At times you will also be asked to package and ship our products (Assembling product package boxes and products) Must be comfortable standing on feet all day Some heavy lifting may be required Located in South Los Angeles. Serious inquiries only. Hours are 6AM-2:30PM, Monday to Friday. What You'll be Doing: Prepare product offerings Maintain tquality standards in the creation of each product. Ensure daily production is completed and product inventory levels are met.. Perform duties as instructed by the Head Baker or General Manager. Requirements: Two years of previous culinary experience, pastry experience strongly preferred Must be able to safely utilize all bakery equipment Attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Must be able to safely utilize all bakery equipment Exceptional interpersonal and team building skills Strong organizational capabilities Ability to train, coach, and counsel team members Exposure to financial and operational accountabilities Job Type: Full-time preferred. Open to part time for right fit. Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour Pay may depend on skills and/or qualifications
