Hiring for Construction Laborers in East Stroudsburg, PA ! Description: Looking for a great opportunity to help individuals through difficult times? A top 500 company hiring Construction Laborers for Monroe County shop. Looking for individuals that are seeking a long-term home in the construction field. Open to candidates of all levels (entry to foreman/crew chief). Entry level candidates will be trained in all aspects. Foreman/Crew Chiefs will be required to have certain certifications. We specialize in Construction Restoration in the cleanup industry. Looking to hire multiple Construction Laborers to join our team as Technicians to assist with Water, Fire and Mold Treatment. Projects will be a mixture of both Residential and Commercial. Biggest things we are looking for is positive attitude, attendance, and being coachable. Employees will report to the shop every morning and head to job site in company vehicle. Job Duties: • Operate hand and power tools (Pry bar, Chalk line, Hammer, drills) • Demolition work. Drywall, spackle, cutting drywall, taking measurements • Water testing • Jobsite clean up • Follow directions giving by Crew Chief • Maintain and organized company vehicle and clean equipment Required Skills: • Effective oral communication • Basic math skills • Experience in cleaning/restoration preferred • High school diploma/GED • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance • Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics) • Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time • Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects • Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals • Driver's License Job Duties: • Operate hand and power tools (Pry bar, Chalk line, Hammer, drills) • Demolition work.
