Description
We are currently hiring 2 security guard/officer positions. Positions come with full standard benefits (HLD, Holidays, Vacation Time Off, etc.). Duties and responsibilities: • Ensure the security, safety, and well-being of all owners, guests, and other authorized personnel (e.g., employees, vendors, contractors, visitors) and the premises • Inspect and patrol premises continuously to identify trespassers and violations of House Rules and provide assistance to owners, guests and other authorized • Politely engage any person violating House Rules • Deliver notices of House Rules violations to individuals or to a unit • Politely engage trespassers and advise them they must leave KBK property • Contact police, as appropriate, if persons are unwilling to leave the property • Submit reports of daily surveillance activity including any suspicious behaviors • Secure pool area, lobby, barbecues, offices in accordance with House Rules or as directed by the site manager • Performing scheduled and random checks of designated areas throughout the facility to check for any security breaches • If possible, secure unattended open doors and windows that may be a security concern • Monitor surveillance cameras • Respond to alarms and react in a timely manner • Respond to all communications (phone, email, text, in-person) advising of trespassers, House Rule violations, or criminal activity • Provide assistance to people in need • Liaising with law enforcement in the case of suspected or reported criminal activity • Assisting the maintenance staff in securing an area during a maintenance emergency • Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures • Pick up any litter during patrols • Secure beach furniture each night • Secure barbecue propane tanks each night • Record any safety or maintenance issues identified during patrols (e.g., burned-out lights, hazards). • Identify abandoned or illegally parked vehicles and follow-up procedures to tow vehicles • Ensure operation of security equipment and surveillance cameras by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques • Maintain organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements • Provide excellent customer service • Adhere to all company service and operating standards • Remain in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations • Respond to emergency situations to provide necessary assistance to employees and customers • Protect the company's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues • Follow procedures for various initiatives, including fire prevention, patrolling premises regularly, traffic control, accident investigations, criminal activity investigations • Other duties as assigned Requirements and qualifications: • Education: High school diploma is required • Experience: 1 year of experience as a security guard or in a customer relations position • Additional requirements: • Ability to read and write English • Outstanding surveillance and observation skills • Must have been trained in CPR and use of AED or able to be trained to administer CPR and use an AED • Must have a State of Hawaii Guard Card or be eligible to secure a State of Hawaii Guard Card • Team player • Bold and firm enforcing boundaries • Great interpersonal and communication skills • Good judgment • Dependability • Good emotional Control • Integrity
