Job Duties
• Effectively and safely supervise the day-to-day shift operations of the warehouse
• Manage and supervise the daily activities of the warehouse technicians to ensure all project orders are picked, packed, received and inventory levels maintained
• Measure and address the effectiveness of employee performance and warehousing activities
• Operate forklifts and use various hand and power tools
• Lead on-time completion of job specific forms, logs, timesheets and reports as needed
• Perform heavy lifting and carrying (up to 80lbs)
Job Requirements
• Five years or more experience in the environmental industry or job related field preferred
• Able to pass a pre-employment physical, respirator fit-test and drug-screen, DOT Medical Exam
• Able to demonstrate an understanding of safe work practices involving chemicals, radiological and bioactive agents
• Able to lift & carry 80lbs, pull and push.
• Regular Drivers License and Forklift Certification
• Attend and maintain all required training, licensing and endorsements necessary to perform duties.
• Read and understand common danger placards, labels, hazard warning literature such as job hazard analysis and site safety plans.
