The Eta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. is a non-profit business and professional women’s organization, founded in 1942 by eleven visionary women who attended Lewis Business College in Detroit, Michigan. Their vision was to promote high scholastic standards, personal growth, and career awareness and to provide opportunities for community service. The sorority has over 45 active chapters among six regions throughout the United States and the Virgin Islands. For 77 years, Eta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated (Inc.) has provided services to improve the quality of life of individuals in many communities. The sorority’s motto is “Not for Ourselves, But for Others”, which reflects the selfless community service work the member of the organization performs.
