Description
Join us to taste a 'Spooky' selection of wines as well as dark Mead guaranteed to warm you up on these raw, rainy, fall days. Scheduled pours: Schmitt Söhne Piesporter Michelsberg QbA Auslese 2018 Mosel, Germany $16 The Piesporter Michelsberg Auslese is harvested in the area of the village of Piesport, located at the river Mosel. This wine is produced from individually selected overripe grapes, resulting in a full-bodied, luscious wine with hints of apricot, nectarine and honey. It has intense flavors and a lingering finish. Owen Roe "Sinister Hand" 2016 Rhône-Style Blend, Yakima Valley AVA, WA $35 Offers up aromas of ripe berries and savory spices. On the palate, it's medium-bodied, supple and fragrant, with a good core of juicy fruit and a finely tannic, chewy finish. Hunted by Owl Ridge Zinfandel 2018 Lodi, California $19 Wonderful blueberry aromas join ripe blackberry flavors in this extremely ripe and delicious wine. A full body and a soft, thick texture make it mouth-filling and jammy-tasting. Pair with Italian sausages, pizza, blue cheeseburgers, and zesty barbequed meats. The Big Red Monster Cabernet Sauvignon NV Paso Robles, California $22 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Petit Verdot, 10% Petit Sirah Extreme heat (100+ degrees) forges fruit with dark, bold, monstrously brooding favors and freezing nights (30 degrees) retain a juicy, racing acidity. Apimed Medovina Old Slavic Dark Mead Slovakia $18 In the dense forests you can feel the tempting smell of pine needles. Buzzing of the bees indicates that skills and abilities of mead producers reshape mountain honeydew honey to Old Slavic dark mead. Original recipes and love of nature are the reasons why every gourmet will appreciate the uniqueness and exquisite taste of this drink.
