Models will receive guidance on how to walk, pose and prepare for castings. The workshop will wrap up with a Q&A period Southwest Model and Talent Agency directors Nikki Strickler and Kiana Johnson will assist both new and established models who want to hone their craft. Both have worked as models internationally and are able to share crucial insight into the ins and outs of the industry. In this two-hour workshop, models will receive guidance on how to walk, pose and prepare for castings. The workshop will wrap up with a Q&A period. This Model Workshop will be a great opportunity for talent to perfect their craft whether they are brand new to the industry or have been modeling for years. In this 2 hour workshop, we will break down a model runway walk, giving step-by-step guidance to have a confident, high fashion walk. This includes posture, strides, turns, poses, stances, facial expressions and much more. We will also go over how to prep for castings, how to come to a casting prepared (what to bring, what to wear, measurements and sizes to always have updated and memorized.) There will be time for an industry Q & A, where models will have the opportunity to ask questions and request guidance in any area of the industry; this can include castings, photo shoots, runway, portfolios, choosing photographers to work with, finding a good agency to sign with, red flags to look for, etc. WHO: Models ages 13 and up WHAT TO WEAR: Model cat suit (all black: skinny jeans or leggings with black tank top or t-shirt. Ladies wear a 3-4 inch stiletto pump, guys can wear dress shoes) WHAT TO BRING: Water & notebook to take notes if desired. PLEASE NOTE: Per CDC guidance, masks are not required for fully vaccinated guests. Individuals who have not received COVID-19 vaccination are asked to wear masks when attending Denver Fashion Week events. DFW is Colorado's largest fashion show production
