Join Hira Azher, a 2021 GDS & Anthropology graduate, next Wednesday to hear about environmental & disability issues and how they intersect!
Hira is a 2021 graduate of Global Development Studies and Anthropology (concentration in Medical Anthropology, Ethics, and Care), as well as a current student at South University pursuing a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Outside of the classroom, she is the Communications Coordinator at the Disability Law Center of Virginia and Communications and the Digital Outreach Assistant at Virginia Interfaith Power & Light. Join us next Wednesday, November 3rd to hear about disability justice and environmental justice & how those spaces intersect with race, nationality, & religion! Of course, bagels, coffee, and great conversation will be provided as well :)
