A 24hr film competition. Registered teams will have twenty-four (24) hours to write, produce and edit a film. Films must be written, produced and edited in the twenty-four hour period between 12p Saturday, January, 9th and 11a, Sunday, January 10th. Finished films can be upload to a Google Drive folder that will be provided at kickoff. No previous works may be incorporated into the final product. Stock photos and music must be original or have rights obtained for exhibition. All delivered films will screen at the Corazon Theater on Saturday, January 16th at 7p in conjunction with the St. Augustine Film Festival. All films that meet the deadline and criteria will be eligible for special laurels and the jury selected Gold Heart and Silver Heart awards. In regards to COVID-19 the 24hrs Corazon Film Event will adhere to CDC, November 2020 guidelines (even in January), presuming guidelines are not made more strict. If CDC adds restrictions then we’ll adhere to the updated guidelines. Registered teams receive 2 comp tickets Final day to Register is 12:31.2020 Early Deadline of 11.30 = $40 ($30 students) Regular Deadline of 12.15 = $50 ($40 students) Late Deadline of 12.31 = $65 ($50 students) Tickets for the general public will be made available on January 1st.
