Learn about what you’ll need to get ready to step out in the marsh, and into the world of waterfowl hunting!
The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources is hosting a free waterfowl hunting seminar where you’ll learn about the equipment, techniques and safety considerations needed for stepping out in the marsh, and into the exciting world of waterfowl hunting. We'll discuss proper hunting gear, shotgun shooting fundamentals, in-flight species identification, introduction to decoy placement, as well as general tips to help increase hunter success and improve hunter confidence.
What to expect:
The seminar will be held at the DWR Central Region Office conference room, which is accessible through the main lobby entrance double doors. This seminar will include a PowerPoint presentation mixed with example objects and gear demonstrations. We’ll cover decoys, clothing, game calls, firearms, safety gear and much more. Please plan on arriving 10-15 minutes early to check in and secure a seat. Restrooms and water fountains are available.Questions:
