Poison Ivy came to us in 2017 right before Christmas. We rescued her out of a parking lot from a woman with a box of kittens, giving them away for free. The woman claimed her breed was Maine Coon & Siamese. Poison Ivy is 3 years old and will be 4 years on Thanksgiving. She is fully litter box trained, does well with grooming, can be talkative, is fully vaccinated, spayed, and LOVES food… maybe a little to much because she’s a little chunky. Sadly Poison Ivy has decided that she wants to be an only cat. She has taken to bullying our disabled male cat and we can’t tolerate it any longer. We’ve been working on the issue for the past 18 months with no progress. Poison was raised with dogs and kids. She does well with both as long as they are polite & respectful. She has NEVER bitten anyone or scratched anyone (human) on purpose. I can’t say the same for other animals though. Like all female cats she’s prissy and loves to groom herself and lay around. She loves laser pointers and fake mice. Poison would do best in a home without other cats. She would thrive in a single pet home but she would get along well with a respectful dog. She is NOT bird or small animal safe. If interested please let me know. You MUST be a home owner & willing to sign an adoption contract.
