We at Sea Going Green are very excited to be a Race for the Oceans champion and host our first beach cleanup in the San Diego area. This will be a super fun event filled with fun activities, giveaways, great food and even better discussions. Let’s come together to protect our San Diego coastlines and wildlife from plastic and litter. 🗓 All you have to do is join us and our collaborating partner SDSU Green Love, as well as Yoga Instructor Leah Lipson and Lucero Sanchez from SD Coastkeeper at the Mission Beach Park on November 14th at 10.30am! SCHEDULE: ➡️ At 10.30 am, yoga instructor Leah Lipson will guide you through a nourishing beginner friendly yoga and sound meditation by the sea. Please bring a yoga mat or towel! (Optional, you can grab your surfboard and head into the waves with Olivia from SDSU Green Love, for a fun self-guided surfing session!) ➡️ At 11.15 am, we're gonna start and end our cleanup at the Mission Beach Park. (You can also leave your surfboard at the meeting point during the cleanup) ➡️ Around 12.15 am, you can either enjoy a selection of finger foods and fresh fruits provided by us or grab something to eat on your way back from the surrounding food venues and join us for a conversation with Lucero Sanchez from San Diego Coastkeeper about the waste we collected and how you can easily takle the problem in your everyday life! + There's going to be an awesome Giveaway for the group that collected to most amount of waste!! 🚘PARKING: FREE!
