Description

Please Join Us for the 32nd Annual Amarillo Community Prayer Breakfast How do you measure the impact of more 32 years of prayer? Can you count the blessings we have received? Can you determine the difference prayer has made? Can you tally the lives saved? Once again, on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, the people of the Panhandle will join together in prayer for the 32nd time for the Amarillo Community Prayer Breakfast, giving thanks to God for the blessings He has bestowed on our community and asking for His continued guidance for our city, state, and national leaders. New this year will be the ability to livestream our in-person event. Please direct those you know who are unable to attend in person to our website for streaming details. This year, Dave Munson will be our featured speaker this year. Dave was born and raised in Portland, Oregon, lived 7 years in Mexico and has worked and done ministry there for the past 15 years. In 2003, living in Juarez, Mexico, he started Saddleback Leather Company by selling the leather bag he designed to carry his books as a missionary, on eBay. In 2006, he met his wife Suzette on Myspace and both now live out in the country near Fort Worth, Texas with their 14 year old daughter Sela and 12 year old son Cross. And maybe being raised outdoors so much also has something to do with why they live in safari tents. But don't feel sorry for them; they're really nice tents. The Munson family spends a lot of time traveling back and forth to the leather factory they own in central Mexico where all of their leather goods are made and where a lot of the ministry is happening. We hope you will join us at 6 a.m. Tuesday, November 23rd at the Amarillo Civic Center North Exhibit Hall to hear Dave Munson's powerful message, but more importantly, to pray and acknowledge our community’s dependence on God. Tables of eight are available for $200 and will be assigned in the order checks are received. Seating is determined on a first-come basis, so please don't delay. Please prayerfully consider your support of the Amarillo Community Prayer Breakfast. We hope you will join us as we celebrate the start of the Thanksgiving week.
