Join Stewards of Browns Woods and Legacy Trails LLC for a full trail assessment Let’s get out and hike! On Saturday, November 6th from 8-4,(the last day before daylight savings) we will be hiking the trail system at Brown’s Woods with the Owner/Operator of Legacy Trails LLC to inventory maintenance needs on the trail system. We will carry tools to address smaller maintenance issues. This will be a walk and talk training with some small dirt work that can make a big impact on maintenance issues. We will be inventorying bigger maintenance needs as well for future projects. Please be prepared for the day with plenty of water, sturdy shoes, and a lunch. See you then. Stewards of Brown's Woods (SBW) is an all-volunteer organization operating under the direction and guidance of the Polk County Conservation Board’s Natural Resources Department. SBW was formed by skilled and dedicated volunteers to help maximize the effectiveness of the resources and to support the mission of the PCCB at Brown’s Woods and beyond.
