Learn even more stitches to mend your clothes in a beautiful way! If you've been mending your clothes with the simple running, or "sashiko", stitch, you might enjoy learning a few more embroidery stitches in this class to enhance your mending with more thread colors and patterns. We'll practice on linen stretched on an embroidery hoop...chain and seed stitches, feather stitch, blanket stitch, satin stitch, and French knots...as many different ones as time will allow. All levels of stitchers are welcome, especially those who have come to one of Judith's Mending Matters classes. Please bring $7 materials fee on day of class. BioFuel Oasis is a worker-owned cooperative that is a biodiesel station and urban farm store. We teach classes on urban farming, including beekeeping, backyard chickens, herbal medicine, mead-making, fermentation, and more.
