Come and Walking in Many Worlds with indigenous and people of color as we celebrate the 21st Annual Global Walking in Many Worlds Conference
The Walking in Many Worlds 21st Annual Global Conference will be held December 15-17, 2021, at the Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort in Cherokee NC. The WMW is a global collaboration for the indigenous communities. Our theme “The Eight Sacred Hoops Summit of the United Indigenous People of Turtle Island” will focus on the future of tribal communities. The focus is on Indigenous Agriculture/ Business, Tribal Cultures, Education, Government, Health, and Health Disparities in the Advancing of the indigenous families and communities.
The Medicine Wheel, sometimes known as the Sacred Hoop, has been used for generations by various Native American tribes for health and healing. It embodies the Four Directions, as well as Father Sky, Mother Earth, and Spirit Tree, and the Longman (River)—all of which symbolize dimensions of health and the cycles of life.
