Join us in remembering, honoring and celebrating the lives of those lost to anti-transgender violence. Please join us at Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 5PM CST as we remember, honor and celebrate the lives of those lost to anti-transgender violence. The service will be held in the Yates Chapel at Millsaps College from 5PM to 7PM, followed by a reception from 7PM to 9PM. The reception will include light refreshments and quiet space for reflection, meditation, prayer and conversation. For those who cannot attend in person, we encourage you to join us via Facebook Livestream. The service will be streamed to the HRC Mississippi, The TRANS Program, ACLU of Mississippi and MS Capital City Pride Facebook pages. COVID SAFETY: Covid safety protocol for this event includes mandatory mask wearing in all public spaces in Millsap campus buildings. and distancing of six feet or more, as able. Disposable masks and sanitizer will be made available. If you are feeling ill, we kindly ask that you do not attend in person and join us via Facebook Livestream. Thank you for being considerate of our community. PARKING: Please access Millsaps College via the Academic Complex/Academic Complex entrance (Google Maps address is 10 Park Avenue, Jackson, MS). TDOR attendees are to park in the Academic Complex parking lot then walk to Yates Chapel located in the McRae Christian Center. Accessible parking and accessible entrances are located on the East end of the McRae Christian Center.
