Looking to hire a part time 15-20 hours per week horse care taker/groomer. After initial trial period in January hours could increase up to 25 hours per week. Position requires the following: At least 3 years experience working with horses (verifiable) professionally to include the following skills. Morning feeding and giving supplements Clean stalls (when necessary) Stable owner has a ranch hand who performs this duty but sometimes will need help when he's not in. Groom, exercise to include but not limited to walking on the trail and light riding when weather permits. These horses are older and easy peezie but need skilled gentle handling. Must have at least intermediate to advanced riding skills and be able to demonstrate @ time of interview. Please be prepared to provide at least 3 references for past work experience, be dependable and have a vehicle and cell phone for communication. This is a small quiet stable with good people and happy horses:) Stable is located approximately 15 minutes west of Ina/I-10, so please take that into consideration when responding. thank you in advance for your consideration.
