ISO an experienced bass player for a working blues/jazz/country band. These are all paying gigs with a usual minimum of $100 plus any collected tips. This is a perfect spot for any musician wanting to supplement her/his income. Basic I-IV-V blues to keep it simple with a few well-known standards thrown in. I'll provide a list of these well in advance. These are usually patio gigs that start around 6pm and end around 9pm. Perfect for small rigs. You'll be playing with pros that can set up and tear down quickly. Usually, three 45 minute sets with breaks in between. If you've done the blues jam circuit and are a hired gun type, we should talk. I'll basically call out the key and groove (slow blues, funk, shuffle, boogie, etc). There will be little to no practice involved for this, but I'd like to get together to go over beginnings and endings. We have gigs in November and December and are starting to book for 2022.
