Slide Bayou + Randy Steele, Live at The Woodshop Slide Bayou is a swampy bluegrass trio from Gulf Shores, Alabama. The trio met at a double booking at the hidden gem, The Sloop in Gulf Shores. Ryan Balthrop was booked as a solo act, while a duo (The Sandhill Hustle) comprised of Tyler Lebron Wilson, and Johnny Jacobs were there to perform as well. So the band cosmically was placed together, and played the show together, and now the trio, Slide Bayou is gearing up for several tours through Georgia, Tennessee, Nevada, Colorado, The US Virgin Islands, and beyond. Make sure to catch this upcoming roots act featuring three part vocal harmonies upright bass, Martin guitars, and other stringed instruments. The stage banter would make you believe the three have known each other their whole lives, but Slide Bayou is just getting started. The Woodshop is an intimate live music venue and neighborhood pub on the outskirts of the historic St. Elmo neighborhood.  Since 2015, our goal has been to assemble and host a network of musicians and makers who are local to or traveling through the area. With our resources, they are able to create, present, or record their work in front of an appreciative audience.
