High-end cabinet finishing shop, looking for a full-time shop helper and delivery driver/mover for pickups and deliveries. We pick up unfinished cabinetry from cabinet shops and deliver finished cabinetry to high-end homes, primarily in Sonoma and Marin Counties. Heavy cabinetry will need to be carefully maneuvered through the home, usually up several flights of stairs. This position will also assist in our shop as a sander and for cabinet preparation. - Applicant must be able to start work between 6 and 7 am - Heavy lifting and the ability to push/pull/lift up to 75 pounds - CA driver's license and acceptable driving record necessary - Physical requirements while performing the duties of the job: employee is required to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, lift, push, pull, carry and manipulate large and heavy items. Job responsibilities are as follows, but not limited to: - Sanding down projects - Spackling projects - Breaking down and reassembling projects. - Doing a clean-up sweep around the working areas, removing debris, and taking out the trash to dumpsters - Help with deliveries (If acceptable driving records and a valid CA DL, help with driving) - Depending on your work skills, you may be requested to go with onsite crews to help with onsite projects. Paid Training: Yes Pay frequency: Bi-weekly Shifts announced: Less than a week prior Typical start time: 6:00 AM - 7:00 AM Typical end time: 3:30 PM Overtime: Available and may be required Work Remotely: No Job Type: Full-time Compensation: Starting at $17/hr - highly dependent on experience.
