Position Title: Inventory Associate - 1st Shift Wage: $13.50/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6am-3:30pm Mon-Fri Let us assemble your next career! Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Receive and package components to prevent damage - Monitor and maintain high efficiency input/output in the department - Be knowledgeable and experienced in performing subordinate tasks and duties - Ensure F.I.F.O. system is adhered to in daily functions of the department - Assist in temporary staffing level loading in inventory control where required - Weigh and/or count various types of raw materials or products using a scale, and move material between the different departments - Research discrepancies and work with the lead and/or departments to resolve issues - Perform cycle counts - General housekeeping to keep the work area neat and clean and organized - Follow company safety policies and procedures - Protect themselves and co-workers by adhering to all company safety & health policies - Identify hazards in the workplace and report them to their supervisors - Participate in safety programs - Adhere to company guidelines and safety protocols - Other duties as assigned Requirements: - High school diploma or GED - 1-3 months of electronic assembly preferred - Regularly stand for long periods of time of up to 8-10 hours - Stoop, kneel, or crouch routinely throughout shift - Frequently lift and/or move up to 50lbs - Basic math and understanding of measurements - Work independently or in a team environment - Good attention to detail - Ability to stay focused - Knowledgeable of computers and applications Benefits: Available once hired QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with nearly 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
