Position Title: Plating-Warehouse - 1st Shift Wage: $13.50/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6am-3:30pm Mon-Fri Ready for a career change? Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Engage in clearing, racking, plating, and polishing of metal objects - Select equipment, such as hooks, tumbler baskets, plating battel tanks and racks according to size and type - Verify types of plating metals, solutions, length of immersion period, and amount of electrical current flowing through solutions and follow plating specifications - Perform calculations to determine durations of parts to remain in baths and remove parts when completed - Gauge parts frequently with micrometers to see that specified tolerances are maintained - Immerse materials in leaching or cleaning solution preparatory to plating - Protect themselves and coworkers by adhering to all company safety and health policies - Participate in safety programs and identify hazards in the workplace Requirements: - High school diploma or GED - 1-3 months of electronic assembly preferred - Regularly stand for long periods of time of up to 8-10 hours - Stoop, kneel, or crouch routinely throughout shift - Frequently lift and/or move up to 50lbs - Lift 10lbs regularly - Basic math and understanding of measurements - Work independently or in a team environment - Good attention to detail - Ability to stay focused - Knowledgeable of computers and applications Benefits: Available once hired on QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with nearly 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
