Updated: 11:20 p.m., Tuesday SARASOTA, FL — All lanes of North Tamiami Trail/U.S. 41 between 18th and 16th streets have reopened after a gas leak shut the roadway down Tuesday evening, Sarasta police said. Police shared around 5:40 p.m. that the road was closed. Drivers were encouraged to find alternate routes. TECO representatives arrived at the scene around 6:30 p.m.
