This is not an easy decision. We've tried and tried to make this work as we have had him since he was 10wks. Max is 2 years old as of September 2021. He is a white German shepherd and both of his parents were white German Shepherds. We got him from Eastern Washington. The breeder can't take him back at this time. He is neutered and had all his puppy shots but is due for his 2yr shots. Rehoming fee of $100 to protect against dog fighting rings. Willing to meet within an hour of Olympia. Must have fenced yard or acreage. No exceptions. We have had the breed for many years but this pup is the highest energy German shepherd we've had. He honestly needs someone who truly can do a few mile walk per day or hike. We've taken him on a 10mile hike he rested at home and could've done another 10miles. He is also not fond of other dogs. He is a covid puppy so he didn't get a lot of socialization. He was home for basically 8 months. He's used to someone being home. He's grown up with other dogs but he would prefer to be the only dog. He has been raised with 2 young children but I can tell they stress him out. Some dogs just can't handle the high hustle and bustle of young kids. He needs a home where he is the only dog with older kids and someone who can exercise him daily. He LOVES fetch and will fetch forever. He prefers fetch over walks. He does know several obedience commands. Sit, down, leave it, heel. He is also trained with the ecollar for off leash recall which he is very responsive to.
