HOUSTON, TX — Jim "Mattress Mack" McIngvale and the Houston Astros are hoping some divine mojo will continue against the Atlanta Braves in Game 1 of the World Series. The Houston businessman bought 55 tickets for nuns from the Dominican Sisters of Mary Immaculate Province to attend the World Series opener, which is set for 7 p.m. Tuesday at Minute Maid Park. McIngvale previously paid for the nuns to attend Games 1 and 6 of the American League Championship Series against the Red Sox. Both games resulted in Astros victories, with the latter sending Houston to the World Series. Live in Houston? After the Game 1 come-from-behind victory, Astros fans on social media began calling them the "Rally Nuns." For Game 6, one of the nuns, Sister Mary Catherine, threw out the first pitch and mimicked Carlos Correa's "It's Time" celebration from the ALCS opener. It was only natural they'd be invited back after such a hot streak.
